Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy, including the list of Prohibited Activities below, is an integral part of your Service Agreement with My Expat Network Limited (trading as StreamVPN). If you engage in any prohibited activity, StreamVPN may suspend or terminate your account.
StreamVPN's Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") for StreamVPN Services is designed to help protect StreamVPN, our customers and the wider internet community from irresponsible or, in some cases, illegal activities. The Policy is a non-exclusive list of actions prohibited by StreamVPN. StreamVPN reserves the right to modify the Policy at any time, effective upon posting on our website.
Prohibited uses of StreamVPN systems and services
- Transmission, distribution, downloading, streaming or storage of any material in violation of any applicable law or regulation — including material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property right accessed or shared without authorisation, or material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates export-control laws.
- Sending Unsolicited Bulk Email ("spam") or any other unsolicited bulk messaging, or using the service to relay, originate or conceal the source of such messages.
- Distributing malware, viruses, ransomware or other malicious code, or conducting phishing or any other fraudulent activity through the service.
- Advertising, transmitting, or making available any software or tool designed to violate this AUP — including tools that facilitate spam, pinging, flooding, mail-bombing or denial-of-service.
- Operating an account on behalf of, or reselling to, persons or firms listed in the Spamhaus ROKSO database at spamhaus.org.
- Unauthorised attempts to gain access to any account, network, computer or resource not belonging to the user (e.g. "cracking"), including port scanning or probing the vulnerability of a system without the owner's permission.
- Obtaining or attempting to obtain service by any means or device with intent to avoid payment.
- Unauthorised access, alteration, destruction, or any attempt thereof, of any information belonging to other StreamVPN customers or any third party.
- Knowingly engaging in activities designed to harass, or to cause a denial-of-service to, any other user or network — whether on the StreamVPN network or elsewhere.
- Using the service to interfere with other customers' or authorised users' use of the network, or in any way that threatens the integrity, stability or security of the StreamVPN network.
Customer responsibility
Each StreamVPN customer is responsible for their activities and, by accepting service from StreamVPN, agrees to abide by this Policy. If violations occur, StreamVPN reserves the right to terminate services or take action to stop the offending customer from violating this AUP, as StreamVPN deems appropriate, without notice.
